Portfolio or Blog Focus
In Eclipse, photos tagged "Featured" are displayed on your blog's portfolio page. By selecting the "Portfolio Focus" option in the customization sidebar, Eclipse lets you change the landing page of your blog to your portfolio. Don't have a portfolio yet? No problem, so long as nothing is tagged "Featured," you'll be able to use Eclipse just as if it were a regular Tumblr theme.
High Resolution Photo Set Viewer & Slideshow
We've redesigned the way Tumblr handles photo sets. Photo sets will display in your blog feed in a low-resolution slideshow. When clicked, the images will display in full-resolution in a really beautiful custom lightbox. The fullscreen lightbox is designed to be supremely responsive when expanded and can be controlled with the arrow keys on your keyboard.
Responsive Image Scaling
When expanded to fullscreen, Eclipse's slideshow responsively rescales your images to best fit the displaying window size and/or mobile device.
Dark and Light Versions
We've packaged Eclipse with two versions: the standard, dark grey version, and the gorgeous light version.
Ask, Submit, and Page Support
In addition to the standard Ask and Submit features, Eclipse also offers support for additional pages, which can be created and organized easily within the theme customization sidebar.
Social Media Integration
The Customization sidebar features specific fields for linking to various social media in the footer, including: Disqus commenting; Twitter; Facebook; Flickr; Vimeo; and YouTube. Note: Eclipse's Disqus field asks for your Disqus Shortname, which can be found in the general settings of your Disqus account (as "Website Shortname").
Ultra-Compact Share Widget
Beneath each post's content or caption is a tidy share widget which, when clicked, expands to a small box containing a shortened page URL, Facebook Like, and Twitter re-tweet buttons.
Google Analytics
Easily install Google Analytics by punching your Web Property ID into the Google Analytics field on customize sidebar.
Customizable Fields
Colors
The Link, Link Visited, Link Hover, Nav Top Gradient, Nav Bottom Gradient, and Nav Inner Shadow colors are all customizable.
Avatar
Eclipse includes support for a custom avatar image to be displayed within the themes circular banner frame. The optimal image size is 240x240px.
