Photo Troubleshooting
What should I do if I’m having trouble uploading an image?
Try the following:
- Make sure the file is no larger than 10MB and one of the following formats: JPG/JPEG, GIF, PNG, or BMP.
- If you are using animated GIF, make sure it is no larger than 1MB and no more than 500 pixels wide.
- Save a brand new version of the file using a photo/image application to remove encoding issues from the original file.
- Size the image down. Most blog themes support 500 x 750 pixels, so be sure to stay within that limit to avoid an automatic scale-down after upload.
Can I view a larger version of an image in a Photo post?
Yes. The larger version can be up to 1280 pixels wide and 1920 pixels tall.
Can I use an image that’s not RGB?
We don’t support CMYK files or other non-RGB image files. If you’re having trouble uploading, save the image in RGB, and then try uploading again.
